Are touch ups required to be part of my package in order for me to reserve my date with Bella B.?
Absolutely not! We do suggest you read the previous Q&A to understand why they could come in handy….. But we understand that everybody and all events are different and they just might not be necessary in your case. Please know this is a personal preference on your part and we are happy to accommodate you whatever your needs may be. It is your day after all… we are all about you!

What type of cosmetics do you use?
Because Bella B. does not represent any particular cosmetic company we can use the best of the best from all the designers. Only the finest and photography friendly makeup is used. Some Examples: M.A.C, Chanel, Dior, Smashbox, Nars, Bobby Brown, Lancome, and Benefit.
Do you offer false eyelashes? Do I have to wear false eyelashes?
Bella B. does offer individual and full strip false eyelashes. When we get together to create the look you envision for your day, we can determine together if they are needed and what type, if any. It is a case by case answer. They are popular right now, however a gorgeous look can be achieved with or without them.
If I get a package that covers me and my bridal party but I only want touch ups for myself and not my bridesmaids, is that a problem?
Absolutely no problem at all! We can customize a package that fits your needs and the needs of your bridal party. Please send an email to Lindsey@BellaBatlanta.com describing your desired package. You will receive a detailed quote shortly after.
What if I have more or less people in my bridal party than covered in a package?
All packages can be customized to fit your needs. The cost will reflect the changes made.
What if I did not intend on paying for my bridesmaids' makeup applications?
Not a problem. Your bridesmaids can be charged separately. You will still receive the same package price but only be responsible for your portion. Two separate contracts can be drafted.
One of my bridesmaids does not wish to have their makeup done. Is this a problem?
Not at all. Not unless it is a problem for you. It is your day! The package price can be adjusted for one less girl.
Do you cover tattoos?
Small tattoos are covered at no charge. If they are larger than a closed fist there is a $25 fee.

We sure can! In addition to our normal bridal package costs and/or discounts for your event, a travel fee based on travel expenses, accommodations & and the number of days required for the event will be applied to the total package cost. A minimum deposit of all travel fees will be required at the time of the booking. Please contact Lindsey@bellabatlanta.com. Be sure to supply your wedding date, event location and the number of people in your bridal party that will be needing services for a detailed quote.
What should I expect of my experience with Bella B. ?
Your own private professional makeup artist! Lindsey Frankel will walk you through creating your look and a trial run of your bridal look. On the day of your wedding your look will be recreated and Lindsey will then follow your photographer to insure your makeup is fresh and flawless in each shot! Why should I hire a professional makeup artist?
To date, this is the probably the most important day of your life. People might not remember what your invitations looked like 10 years from now, but they will remember that you looked radiant & gorgeous! Emotions run high on the day of your wedding and hiring a makeup artist removes the stress of getting the perfect look all on your own or placing that stress on a family member. A professional makeup artist will have gone through a trial run with you and can recreate the look on your wedding day. Most importantly, all makeup is NOT created equally. A professional artist will use the proper makeup to insure that your face doesn't photograph like a white mask & that your eye makeup didn't look greasy in your pictures. You have will have invested a lot of time, money, and energy into your wedding. You deserve to sit back relax and have a skilled expert make you look and feel beautiful.
Why shouldn't I buy my bridal makeup at the mall and do it myself?
Bridal makeup differs from the makeup you wear every day. It is more formal and should be appropriate for professional photography. That is a pretty big investment for items you will only use on one day. The proper brushes alone could cost over $100. Not to mention that you still have the stress of worrying if you can apply it the way the counter person taught you. A professional artist alleviates the uncertainty of you possibly not achieving the look you want and would not cost much more than if you had purchased everything needed. Why take a chance right before you walk down the isle? Take that time to relax!

Why shouldn't I get my bridal makeup done at the mall?
The mall on the weekend? You're probably not going to get the attention that you deserve. At the mall you are also a slave to just one cosmetic company's products. Traveling to the mall on the day of your wedding to be treated like a "make over " customer by whoever is working the counter that day is not the experience you deserve on your wedding day.
All the magazines I read say to spend 10% on my dress, veil, makeup and hair combined! My dress cost almost 10% of my budget. Can this % be right?
You have to remember that everything is relative. If you have a larger budget you probably won't spend anywhere near 10% on all of your beauty needs. If you are on a tighter budget you might spend over 10% due to the fact that the items listed above can individually cost a reasonable amount of money on their own. I agree that it seems like a dilemma. You have to take into consideration how one detail affects another detail. Your dress, veil, hair and makeup all together create the visual look of a bride. Without a bride... there is no wedding! Besides...you don't really HAVE to feed your guests .... they will survive! JUST KIDDING! You should spend what you can afford! It is your wedding day! All brides are beautiful just by showing up in their white dresses. Have fun and congratulations!
